About Us

Hi, I’m Adnan Khan

Every website starts with a small frustration. Mine started with a simple question that should have taken two minutes to answer: “Is this business actually GST-registered?”

I was looking at an invoice that charged GST, and I wanted to understand whether that was correct. I opened a search engine and found pages that were outdated, pages that were copied from each other, and pages so full of jargon that I had to read every paragraph twice. The official information existed, but it was scattered across many sections and written for people who already understood tax.

That was the moment I thought: if this confuses me, it probably confuses a lot of other people too. Small business owners, freelancers, shoppers, students, and people who have just moved to a new country all run into the same wall.

Why I Started This Website

GST Registration Check was created to turn complicated tax and GST information into plain, readable guides. I am not trying to replace official sources. I am trying to be the friendly explainer who helps you understand what you are looking at before you go to the official source.

On this website you will find guides about:

  • What GST is and how it works
  • Who needs to register for GST, and when
  • How to check whether a business is GST-registered
  • How to claim input tax and file GST returns
  • Related topics such as income tax, corporate tax, property tax, and stamp duty

How I Write Every Article

I follow a few simple rules, and I hold myself to them:

  1. Start from official sources. I read the relevant government pages first, so my explanations are grounded in real rules.
  2. Write in plain language. If a sentence needs a dictionary, I rewrite it.
  3. Add examples. Rules make more sense when you see them in action.
  4. Link back to the source. You should always be able to verify what you read here on the official website.
  5. Update when things change. Tax rules change, so I revisit articles and update them.

What This Website Is Not

I want to be completely honest with you. GST Registration Check is an independent informational website. It is not a government website, it is not affiliated with any tax authority, and it does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. For decisions that affect your money or compliance, please confirm the details on the official government website or speak to a licensed tax professional.

A Note of Thanks

If you found a guide here useful, that is the best outcome I could hope for. If you spot a mistake or something unclear, please tell me. Your feedback makes this website better for everyone.
